An amazingly detailed model of this beautiful Queen Mary II was all hand built using plank on frame method. The craftsmen spent about more than 200 hours for this model. It has all the details on the hull and deck area. You can see smoke stack, swimming pool, life boats, windows, rails, anchor, antenna, navigation, propellers...a thousands different parts. Please do not think that the propeller was put in incorrectly. This propeller is actually can turn around to pull or push the ship. Also, look at the front propellers. History: The Queen Mary II, the largest and most luxurious passenger ship ever built, was to take to the seas for the first time on the 25th of September, 2003. The first production was supervised by an actual US Coast Guard veteran. The model contains magnificent details which include the Boston Whaler, 81mm mortar with platform, machine guns on tripod, boat davit, suction hose, drums, fire hose, windshield wipers, engine hatches and many more... History: The United States Coast Guard Point Class Cutters were a class of 82 foot patrol vessels designed to replace the aging 83 foot wooden hull patrol boat being used at the time. The design utilized a mild steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. The Coast Guard Yard discontinued the building of the 95 foot Cape class patrol boat in order to have the capacity to produce the 82 foot Point class patrol boat in 1960.They served as patrol vessels used in law enforcement and search and rescue along the coasts of the United States and the Caribbean.
