Pete Rachel with some fantastic wildlife artworks

If you think it's a jungle out there, you've never been inside Pete Rachel's studio.

Pete Rachel began his wildlife interests as a boy. At 12 years old, his father encouraged a fascinating hobby of taxidermy. He apprenticed with a Master Taxidermist through high school, and through college. After college he opened his own taxidermy shop in New York.

After 10 years he moved his shop to California. There he came up with the idea to make synthetic animals by using real animals to make a mold. It is then when he found his real interest.

For the past 20 years he has been selling his sculptures World Wide,
with clients including :

Jacque Cousteau, Jane Goodal, Paul Harvey, Disney, Sea World, The Nature Company, San Diego Zoo, as well as many other zoo's and aquariums around the world. A 35 foot Manatee for the Homosassa Springs Welcome Center in Homosassa, Florida.

Our friend and artist, Pete Rachel has passed away in 2005 to join the company of other great artists. He is dearly missed.
We are privileged to have the opportunity to offer this extraordinary artist's editions by working closely with his family to assure his quality and vision continues for generations.
