5/8 steel "S" from tip of beak down neck to base of tail;
Double wire tied into 1/2 inch steel and threaded rods legs+tail rods.
Each leg has 1 Stainless-Steel threaded rod and two 1/2 inch steel rods embedded into solid resin core.
Resin is high-strength fiber reinforced, mineral filled epoxy.

Cast Pelican has titanium white tinting to block damaging Ultra-violet light from resin. "frosty" or powdered surface and mineral filled resin will readily accept a primer and then paints.

Feet are supported by 2 @ 4x4" wood blocks bolted thru with 5 to 6 inches of stainless rod countersunk into bottom.
These wooden "sled skis" should allow easy handling of this 450-500 pound monumental pelican sculpture.

Approximate height is within 1/2" tolerances. this side is right on, other is about 1/4" higher. Smaller tail base and clearance arround foot base should allow room for best placement on building and platform.
